Tangible Pieces

I had a hard time picking a name for this piece. It was done at the request of a friend who unfortunately has had to experience the loss of two unborn children. Working in the medical field where I deal with other people going through this sort of situation, I can understand the pain, but do not know it first hand.

She wrote me a very sweet "Thank You" note after I gave her the painting and said it is these little things, pendants, poems, memorial stones.....these tangible pieces of which she has so few of to remember them by that she holds onto. The painting was done after a friend told her of a dream she had of the children, walking together. I wanted to create one more tangible piece that she could hold on to, an image from a dream brought out into her home.
