This is my version of a replica of one of my most admired artists of today; Vladimir Kush. THIS IS MY OWN VERSION OF THE ARTISTS PAINTING, DONE BY REQUEST. The original painting by Vladimir Kush is titled: DEPARTURE OF THE WINGED SHIP, and is available in his gallery.

Consider my version practice work to improve my skills. I have never worked well with oil paints, and since I was asked if I could replicate this, I decided to accept the challenge. I did all the base in acrylics and detail and topcoat on the waves and butterflies in oil paint. I'm still trying to get the damn thing to dry. This is why I hate oils. I work way too fast to have patience with them, but they really are very vibrant and pretty.
