Taking Flight

Trying to get back into figures. I just wanted to simplify this one so I started by painting the canvas all black and going over it in white pencil.

(For those who have made comments in the past "It doesn't look exactly like the picture"...I don't do my art that way, I borrow glances from the model and then take the canvas away from the reference image so I don't copy things exactly to precise details. I do however, like to borrow the poses and get a clothing reference to work from.)
